Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women at Avondale


All the women of Avondale Presbyterian Church are members of Presbyterian Women, whether or not they are in a circle.  We welcome non-members and encourage guests and visitors to participate in all women’s events.


We are a vibrant group of women, involved in all aspects of church life.  The missions we support include:


•Thank You offering

•Birthday Offering

•Ministering to shut-ins

•Collecting items for our homeless neighbors

•Collecting items for selected community agencies such as Women in Transition and the Battered Women’s Shelter.


We sponsor 6 circles:  Genesis circle, Bridge Builders, Circles #1, #4, #5, and Mothers’ Group.  Some circles do a Bible-based study, some have a book study, and Bridge Builders is an intergenerational group that meets at a restaurant for fellowship and networking.
