Giving to Avondale
Your giving helps ensure Avondale offers meaningful ways to engage faith through worship that awakens us, experiences that help us understand our role in God's world, and service to those beyond our walls.
Given to the Glory of God
Remembering loved ones who reside within the church triumphant is natural on Easter Day. This year, as with years past, there are opportunities to honor or remember loved ones by supporting a particular mission or project. The directions for giving this year are the
"Butterfly" Fund and Facilities Fund. On Easter Day, we will be receiving the larger denominational offering - One Great Hour of Sharing.
We will release butterflies on Easter in memory of and in honor of those we love and hold dear. Funds from the proceeds will go towards our Avondale Adventures mission project, “Showing Our Love Through Action”. The children will use all proceeds to purchase items from the Presbyterian Giving Catalog to help provide clean water, food, and education to those in need around the world. We hope you will join us in the Sacred Garden following Easter worship for this tribute remembering those we love.
You may make a contribution, in memory of and in honor of loved ones, to help replenish the Facilities Fund which will be used for capital improvements of our church property.

A listing of memorial gifts and those honored will be printed as part of our Easter Service bulletin available at worship and shared on our website.

One Great Hour
A gift to One Great Hour of Sharing enables the church to share God’s love with our neighbors in need around the world by providing relief to those affected by natural disasters, providing food to the hungry, and helping empower the poor and oppressed.
