Avondale Adventures finale

Avondale Adventures spring program ends….

What a wonderful service and celebration we had on Pentecost! Thank you to the leaders, families and most of all, our Avondale Adventures children for working so hard to learn their songs. The music and art were beautiful! (Song list below*.)

If you missed the service or would like to share it with family, the link is provided here!

The children’s canned food drive mission project was a success. Thank you to all who contributed. The children delivered the food to Holy Comforter's food pantry. There they heard more about hunger in Charlotte and how the food pantry works.

We also want to thank the children, families and leaders for another wonderful season! We hope the children had a blast. Come back for Avondale Adventures in the fall and help your child grow in their faith and understanding of God's love.

*These are the songs they sang!

“Uyai mose” / “Come, all you people” - from Zimbabwe

“Now I know” / “Ey lou nis” - from Cambodia

“Wa wa wa Emimimo” / “Come, O Holy Spirit” - from Nigeria

“Come and sing the praise of the Lord” / “Hal'luhu b'zilz'le shama” - from Israel

“Sizohamba naye” / “We will walk with God” - from Swaziland
