Youth Study & Youth Sunday 2022
Last fall, our Avondale Youth Group learned about the 13 biases taught in “Learning How to See" a podcast with Brian McLaren of the Center for Action and Contemplation. These biases, which all start with the letter "C", include: Confirmation; Complexity; Community; Complementarity; Contact; Conservative/Liberal; Consciousness; Competency; Confidence; Comfort; Catastrophe; Cash; and Conspiracy.
We found it to be a powerful journey as we spent time reflecting on how these biases were present in our own lives and worked on ways to overcome them.
This year’s Youth Sunday will be February 27, 2022 and we are excited to share these teachings with you! Come and “C”.
