Room In The Inn volunteer sign-up opens Friday, November 19 HERE. On the first and third Sundays of the month, December through March,
Avondale and Holy Comforter volunteers will hold Room In The Inn
for neighbors in need at Avondale.
We will host up to eight neighbors. All guests will be vaccinated. You do not have to be a member of Holy Comforter or Avondale to volunteer.
Opportunities to serve include:
-Pick-up guests from Roof Above (1)
-Serve as Overnight hosts (2)
-Prepare and serve* dinner for 8 guests and 2 overnight hosts (1-2) (*can opt to prepare meal only and deliver it)
-Drop-off prepared bagged breakfasts for 8 guests (1-2)
-Drop-off prepared bagged lunches for 8 guests (1-2)
-Breakdown Fellowship Hall (1-2)
-Setup Fellowship Hall for 8 guests and 2 hosts (1-2)
-Wash Linens and return to church (1)
-Drive guests to bus terminal (1)
