Room In The Inn info session on October 30 following Worship (11 AM)
As the temperature drops and the days shorten, remember that Room In The Inn will start in December and will run through March - and we need your help!
Room In The Inn (RITI) houses our homeless neighbors for the winter months. This year, Avondale will host homeless men, women and children, and will continue with the COVID precaution of masking.
Avondale will host eight neighbors every Sunday in Fellowship Hall. We need volunteers to pick -up our neighbors from Roof Above, prepare dinner and eat with our neighbors, setup cots, stay the night, and also take down the cots on Monday morning.
We will host a "how to" training to acquaint members with the various volunteer opportunities with Room In The Inn on Sunday, October 30. The training will follow the worship service, and will be brief- less than a half hour. We will also have snacks. Join us and learn how you can help!
