Sacred Space Art Program at Avondale
We welcome artists of all skill levels to participate in an engaging and provocative artistic experience: Sacred Space Art.
This program explores art, sacred places, art in spirituality, and more through classes and series. Led by Cheryl Judd-Magee, with additional talented leaders, this creative program incorporates a variety of art media (painting, charcoal, photography, clay, etc.) and is offered through Avondale.
Participants:

Learn and develop artistic skills

Explore sacred imagery significant to our faith and spirituality

Create art to take with you (varies by class)

Be encouraged to express oneself through art

Grow in a supportive, creative environment where all levels of experience are welcome
Location: Classes are held at Avondale Presbyterian Church
at 2821 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28209
Who: Open to all skill levels. Open to Members from the Avondale community, friends, family and neighbors. Recommended for adults and youth ages 14+.
Cost: varies by program (usually includes all materials)

Cheryl is a trained artist with a BFA and over 15 years of teaching experience. Her creative vision has been a part of Avondale’s sanctuary embellishments for over 25 years. She believes in
everyone’s ability to express themselves through art
and can help you believe this about yourself.
